An add-on assessing the sustainability of the Belgian health system using projections has been published on June 2021. The full report is available on the KCE website: Health System Performance Assessment – Projections.

Three new indicators were added:

• S-18: Projection of the number of contacts with GPs (Demand), evolution in %
• S-19: Projection of the number of GPs active in the healthcare sector (Supply), evolution in %
• S-20: Projection of public expenditure on health (% GDP), evolution in percentage points
